Living in Europe, they had to rely on their family to help them pull together this day in Laguna Beach. All they knew was that they wanted to say I Do on the beach where she spent her childhood. The day that unfolded proved to be the most intimate, laid back, relaxed event I've been a part of. After their ceremony, they just talked and danced and laughed and hugged. No timeline. No coordinator. No rushing from one thing to another.

The bartender lost the ring. Then he found it. They lost her bracelet. Then I found it. It seemed every little hurdle, every little hiccup, just got taken in stride. With their eyes on the important stuff, they accomplished what every bride and groom strive to do-

They just sat in the moment, and soaked it all in.

These two had a dream of a day. They couldn't have asked to be surrounded by more love, more support, more heavenly light.

A dream. Zzzzzzzzzzzz......

Love you two- and how you love each other. Loveity love love.

Thanks as always to my partner in crime, my second shooter Kym Vitar. You already know how I feel about you.

Well, I can practically smell the turkey and mashed potatoes cooking, so that means just one thing....

It's almost time for our Annual Black Friday Sale!

As a public service announcement, portrait prices will be going up a tad starting January 1. (From $299 to $325)

So, that means this year's deal is an even hotter commodity!

Here's the lowdown:

On Friday, November 28, from 9am PST to midnight PST, you can purchase a FULL session for $189- to be used any time before December 31, 2015. You can buy one for your own family, give one as a gift, even buy multiple sessions. Quantities are limited, and once they sell out, there are no more available for purchase. I can't tell you how many there are, but I will give you heads up on the Facebook page when we are getting close.

How does it work?

At 9:00 am, PST, I will post a banner photo on the Facebook page, and if you want to purchase one (or more) just comment on the post with your email address. (If you prefer to keep your email address private, you can comment with the number you'd like to purchase, and email me directly at STEPHANIE@INTUITIVEIMAGESPHOTOGRAPHY.COM. A Paypal invoice will be sent to you- all invoices must be paid for by midnight, or they will be canceled.

This session may be used for family, maternity, baby, senior, couples, anniversary sessions, but are NOT valid for newborns or wedding photography.

I had quite a few families that didn't get this deal last year, so plan ahead! Enjoy Thanksgiving with your family (take lots of pictures!) and I'll see you on Friday.

Megan and Steve are actual aerospace engineers. Like, real life rocket scientists. So it was a no-brainer (get it? Cause they're geniuses.) to hold their wedding at the Redondo Beach Historic Library. Instead of the boring old table numbers, their guests were seated at tables named after one of their favorite books. On each table was a description of the book, and what it meant to them. Around the library, photos and books were displayed according to different chapters in their lives. Escort cards were library cards, of course. Notes of love typed on an antique typwriter. Every last detail was special and significant to them. Beyond the details, the most significant thing about their day was how many friends and family traveled from near and far to be with them. They were surrounded, enveloped by people who support and encourage them. It was an honor just to be a witness. Love you two.

Dance me to your beauty

with a burning violin

Dance me through the panic

'til I'm gathered safely in

Lift me like an olive branch

and be my homeward dove

Dance me to the end of love...

Congratulations, Peter and Alice.

Never stop dancing.

Huge ginormous thank you as always to my beautiful and talented second shooter, Kym {Kym Vitar Photography}
