Megan and Steve are actual aerospace engineers. Like, real life rocket scientists. So it was a no-brainer (get it? Cause they're geniuses.) to hold their wedding at the Redondo Beach Historic Library. Instead of the boring old table numbers, their guests were seated at tables named after one of their favorite books. On each table was a description of the book, and what it meant to them. Around the library, photos and books were displayed according to different chapters in their lives. Escort cards were library cards, of course. Notes of love typed on an antique typwriter. Every last detail was special and significant to them. Beyond the details, the most significant thing about their day was how many friends and family traveled from near and far to be with them. They were surrounded, enveloped by people who support and encourage them. It was an honor just to be a witness. Love you two.
An epic ceremony-stopping musical surprise. Rubber chickens. Inside jokes for vows. Party of the century.
What a kickoff to a lifetime with your best friend.

Congratulations Megan and Patrick- may your life together be as fun as your wedding day!

San Pedro is my hometown.
I've always said that San Pedro is just an old fashioned small town, disguised as a Los Angeles suburb. Families all know each other, friends from elementary school are your friends for life, and memories are made by the cliffs, the loading docks, and in little spots like Averill Park.
So when I found out Vanessa and Bryan would be getting married in Averill Park, and having their reception on 7th Street in downtown San Pedro, I couldn't have been more thrilled. I knew it would be the kind of event that everyone wants to attend- the kind of wedding that feels like a family reunion, even for those who have never met.
I was so right.
Congratulations, Vanessa and Bryan- I can't thank you enough for letting me a part of this day.
I know you have years of memories to make together in this special place.
They started off their day at the St. Regis in Monarch Beach. Then they took their party to the water, where it belonged. A few hiccups in the day pushed the ceremony timing back, which resulted in a fiery sunset breaking through their first kiss. Sometimes moments are crafted by something other than us, and they happen just as they are meant to.
Stephanie and Josh- may the entirety of your marriage be as fun and hilarious as your wedding day, and may you always celebrate with your toes in the sand.
Special thank you to coordinators at The Gal, The Plan, The Wedding.
