Her name means "poetry" in Sanskrit. I couldn't imagine a more fitting description of this sweet little girl with Indonesian and Hindu roots. And with happy, active twin older brothers, she will undoubtedly be the sweet, gentle poem in this family.
We love you, little Kavya.
Baby Thomas is one month old. Which means he likes to look around, see everything going on, and be in mama's arms all day long.
We were happy to oblige.
Thank you to this beautiful new little family for asking me in to your beautiful home during this special time. (And thanks to Mama for offering to put on a beautiful evening gown and go outside. Totally worth it. :) )
Enjoy this time together- it passes so quickly.
The Gauthier family welcomed this beautiful baby girl one month ago, and life has changed for them in the most beautiful way. When you see these two new parents with their little girl, you can just feel how much they love her and cherish her presence. I was so blessed to spend a day with them in their Los Angeles home, capturing a few moments that they can look back on in a few years when they forget what it was like to hold her on their chest, or what her tiny little voice sounded like whenever her pacifier found its way out of her perfect little lips.
Welcome to the world, little Noa girl.
You sure are loved.
Athan is now 100 days old, which is cause for celebration!
If you aren't familiar with the Korean tradition of the 100th day celebration, you can read up on it here.
Mom, Dad, big brother, Grandma, Uncle, and even the sweet little Millie (their super smart little terrier) all gathered around to celebrate Athan's 100th day.
Thanks everyone, for the sweet smiles. Can't wait to see you in another hundred. ;)
I love California. Almost as much as I love this family.
We spent some time at the Bolsa Chica wetlands, then we hopped across the street to Sunset beach to watch the sun go down.
It was a beautiful day.
Before you have a second child, you often wonder how your heart can hold enough love for two children. Then when your second child arrives, you realize that your heart doesn't split, but grows to accomodate the love.
The Marvins welcomed their second child, Arjuna. His name means "pure" in Sanskrit, and is the perfect title for this new life and the love that exists in this new family of four.
Congratulations Matt and Jennifer!
Here's my best parenting advice: Don't blink or you'll miss it.
